When the Elf on the Shelf hit store shelves a few years ago, we all rushed out to grab one. As parents we thought of creating lifelong memories and traditions with our children. As the years have gone by, getting creative in planning what our Elf on the Shelf will do for the holiday season has become somewhat challenging.
I have to admit, I was pretty UNCREATIVE with my Elf on the Shelf escapades last year, this year I have a list put together of 30 easy things to do with the Elf that anyone can do with little effort! 🙂

30 EASY Elf on the Shelf Ideas for the Christmas Season
1. Toilet paper wrap the Christmas Tree with your Elf hanging on the toilet paper
2. Photoshop your elf into your family photo and have a “ta da” expression with hands for your elf
3. Silly string gifts under the tree with your Elf’s hands over his face
4. Candy canes from the dining chandelier with him/her holding for dear life!
5. Tea party with dolls
6. Being held hostage by dolls or action figures with money as pay off
7. Zip-line across the house
8. Flying from the fan
9. Playing his favorite Christmas game on your tablet, iPad, or smart phone
10. Hanging Christmas lights from house plants
11. Playing hide and seek in your house plants
12. Taking a bath in the sink
