I am constantly looking for tasty snacks for the kids that are not process and full of sugar, here is one that you NEED to try!! Unlike with potato chips there is no salt. But, you still get the crunchy fix. I might have to experiment with some dipping ideas, possibly leaning toward caramel. Something with cheese might work too. Chips and dip are always a great duo.

Baked Apple Chips
Only 2 ingredients required:
4 fresh apples
1 TBSP cinnamon
How to make them:
-Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
-Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
-Put cinnamon in a bowl or large salt shaker.
-Cut apples in thin slices. using a cheese slicer (you can leave the skin on)… Sprinkle with cinnamon.
-Bake apples on first side for 1 hour…. flip over and bake on the second side for an additional hour.
-Leave in oven to cool for a third hour.
