I was given the opportunity recently to review an area rug from Mohawk Home. I don’t know about you, but with kids in my house and the standard “cream/beige” carpets they can get a bit dingy looking. Unfortunately.
So I was excited to check out what Mohawk has to offer! I already have a couple area rugs around the house that I bought pretty cheaply at Bed, Bath and Beyond and I have to say I am FLOORED at the difference. Like WOW. The quality of the Mohawk rug was just phenomenal compared to that of my cheap $10 runner! This is the runner that I picked.

We are talking HUGE difference!! I almost feel silly saying this but I love walking down by hall to the bedroom with this runner there now, it is very cushioned and awesome to walk on. Nice thing is it doesn’t seem to wear down all that easily either. I have had it out for about 10 days now and still exactly how it was when I laid it down. Very durable.
The thing that I love most about accent rugs is that you can take an otherwise very boring and dull space and liven it up. The hallways in my house get so much traffic to and from the bedrooms that I needed something badly.

BIG difference right?! Again, I have been extremely impressed with the quality, can’t say enough about it! I definitely recommend checking them out and Mohawk Flooring!

I like them ALL, but the Abacus Smoke Blue would look amazing on my mother’s blue carpet in the living room!!! I would love to be able to win this for her!!! She definitely deserves it 🙂
