You sign up for a FREE account with UPS and you actually get updates by email or text from UPS when you have a package coming, delivery times and notices if there are delays, etc.. You can even have a package re-routed! All as part of their FREE membership (note, there is a premium membership too but the basic service is ALL FREE).
I signed up a few months ago to check it out and within an hour of signing up I had an email with a delivery notification! You can even go in and request your package be held onto if you are not going to be there OR you can sign for it online if you want it delivered anyway!

ty so much I order so much stuff and didnt know about this.
I have this service and it is great to know when to expect your packages. The only drawback is that it is not always delivered in the time frame that they send to you.
