If you have a physical Amazon Dash button that you currently use at home or at work, it will actually be discontinued effective August 31st, 2019.
What does this mean for all you dash button users?
You will not be able to use your physical Dash Button devices to reorder items; but, you can continue to order your products with the Free Virtual Dash Buttons or order through the Amazon mobile app and on Amazon.com.
Thanks to the Amazon Recycling Program, you can recycle your Dash Button device(s) at no cost to you. Just head here, click the “get started” button, enter the quantity of the Dash Buttons you wish to recycle and Amazon will generate a UPS shipping label. Then just print the label, follow the packaging guidelines and drop your buttons off at the nearest UPS location. Amazon covers all the costs associated with shipping and recycling your buttons!
