First off — sorry for the not-so-great picture! I think there was something on the lense when I took this pic 🙂
Secondly, be warned — these are addictive and soooo yummy!
Cream Cheese Squares:
Ingredients:
- Two 8oz cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Two 8oz packages of cream cheese
- 1 1/4 Cup White sugar (separated)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of margarine (or butter) melted
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Grease a 9×13 inch pan
- Separate the crescent roll triangle and cover the bottom of the pan with the triangle from one can.
- Mix together the cream cheese, 1 cup of the white sugar and the vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Spread over the crescent layer evenly.
- Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and just place them over the top of the cream cheese.
- Pour the melted margarine or butter over the entire pan.
- Mix the 1/4 cup of white sugar and the cinnamon and sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the top is crisp and golden.
- ENJOY!
Next week I’ll do one not quite as fattening…. 😉
