Anyone here like Nachos? They are always welcome at my house, especially when you add the guacamole, sour cream, bean dip, or all of the above.
Here is what you need for a cookie sheet full:
Bite-size Tostitos
2 -3 cups Grated Cheese ( I like the Mexican Style)
1/2 to 3/4 lb ground beef
Chopped black olives – about 1/4 cup
Chopped hot peppers – or your favorite
1 can refried beans
First thing I do is empty the refried beans into a small baking dish and top with a small amount of the cheese.Preheat the oven to 350 with the dish of beans in it. Brown your beef, chopping into small pieces and drain. Spread the Tostitos over the cookie sheet. Sprinkle the beef, peppers and olives evenly over chips, and then top with cheese – the amount is your preference.
Your dish of beans will probably be heated, but you can leave them in the oven while heating up the Nachos. Still at 350, heat them up for about 12-15 minutes, or until heated throughout.
Serve to hungry people with the bean dip, guac and sour cream. I like them all!
