Good old Hickory Farms. When I was growing up, we lived very close to two malls that were right next door to each other. Since many people do not even have a mall close this was actually kind of weird. Now both of those malls have changed, but they are still here, just not the only ones in town anymore. At least one of them had a Hickory Farms store, probably both. I am not talking about a kiosk, it was a walk in shop.

Hickory Farms was always a great idea for my Dad who was, and still is, challenging to buy for at Christmas. What a problem solver they are! Who doesn’t love a delightfully packaged box from Hickory Farms to claim as their very own? Often they even offer the needed utensils.

Now you can still find kiosks in most malls, especially during the holiday season. The Hickory Farms website not only locates the closest one to you, it also allows you to shop online, and you know me, I love to shop online. It is almost as fun as giving stuff away!

I was lucky enough to get an awesome package from Hickory Farms a week ago, they have some of the best cheese and salami. It arrived one late afternoon and it is such a family favorite and we had it that night! So yummy!   This package that I got actually had a nut mix too, seriously tasty!

    I like them all, but I’d have to say the Deluxe smokehouse is my favorite! I love summer sausage and cheese! My dad and I used to eat it together all the time when I was little! 🙂

    I love Hickory farms but especially love the holiday cravings package. A little sweet and spicey. Really miss the peppermint chocolate candy. Haven’t see this out yet

    So hard to choose, I was so sad when they closed down their store here in Portland, OR. Now all they have are the kiosks around christmas time, never the same. if I were to choose one of the baskets, definetly would be the Home for the Holidays basket, some of my all time fav’s in there 🙂

    Though I love them all (Hickory Farms brings back fond memories for me of Christmas’ past growing up in New Hampshire, my parents often would run to get an assortment to served at family get-togethers), my favorite would have to be the Hickory Holiday Reserve. That, a couple of classic holiday films and some great friends and family would really cover all the basics for a terrific night in over the holidays!

    I’d love the Deluxe Smokehouse!
    As kids, brother and I used to take our extra movie money and buy all kinds of things at Hickory Farms in the mall, from smoked cheddar and summer sausage, to dips and those mint nonpareils that were so delicious!

    i like the grand artisan package. but really, any package from there that contains those yummy strawberry hard candies would be ok with me! i remember the sample baskets of those at the mall location when i was little-best part of the mall if you ask me! thanks for the awesome giveaway and for bringing back some great memories! happy thanksgiving!

    Tastes of the Trade Tool Bag….what a great idea you not only get the great tasting snacks but the tool bag to use afterwards. Always something that can be used.

    It’s so hard to pick because it is all delicious! But I think, if forced, our favorite is probably the summer sausage and cheese basket. Can’t go wrong with the old standard!

    I would probably get the Holiday Petits Fours even though I LOVE their cheese. I remember when I was growing up we would go to Hickory Farms a few times a year to get cheese balls and pickles (the huge ones form the barrel).

    Pack and go picnic tote…YUM lots of goodies in it…we used to have one in the mall where I grew up…loved to go in and get samples as a kid
