With the flu-season in full swing I thought this was a good one to share!
This is my adaption of the Dr. Oz’s Immunity-Boosting smoothie, he uses Raspberries, I use mainly Strawberries as they have a bit more Vitamin C and I like them more. But you can swap them out!
Needed:
1 cup Non-fat or low-fat Vanilla Soy Milk
1 cup Frozen Strawberries (or raspberries — I did a mix of the two)
1 Banana
1/2 cup Orange Juice
Blend them all together and you have a very simple and easy to make smoothie that helps boost your immune system. High in Vitamin C, Anti-oxidants and flavonoids which boost your immune system and every bit helps right now! Plus this is a great snack!
