I posted a great Chicken & Dumpling Casserole dinner recipe, now I am sure you are ready for dessert right?! This is one of my favorites and it is SO easy to make.
Only requires FOUR ingredients and takes all of 3-4 minutes to prep. You can do this recipe for any fruit you want really, I choose Apple tonight 🙂
4 Ingredient Slow Cooker Fruit Cobbler
2 Cans of Pie Filling
1 packet of Maple Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal OR Chopped Walnuts work well too.
1 box of Cake Mix (yellow or Vanilla)
1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter
And this is probably the EASIEST cobbler you will make!
1. Melt the butter in a bowl
2. Mix the cake mix into the melted butter until all crumbly
3. Dump the fruit pie filling into your crock pot
4. Spread the Cake mixture over the top of the fruit
5. Sprinkle 1/2-3/4 of the oatmeal mix over the top (I never use the whole packet)
6. Cook on high heat for 2 hours.
ENJOY! As you can see in the picture above, I like mine with ice cream.
