So when I received an email asking me to review wedge sneakers, my first response was WEDGE WHAT?! I am not usually the daring fashion tester, I stick to the “safe” and known for the most part. But, I wanted to be daring so gave it a go!
Of course, after I agreed to review them I started seeing them EVERYWHERE. From magazines with celebrities like Brittany Spears, to the local shoe store, they were all over. And the style started growing on me.

I was sent the Black Suede pair in the picture above, again — the shock when I first got them, was “am I really doing this?”. I tried them on and was surprised at how comfy they were. They have a 2 inch hidden heel.
Walking around in them they started growing on me more and I could see how they would be cute with some skinny jeans and nice, loose top. The one issue that I did have with them though was the tongue! Was bigger than I would have liked but I was easily able to strap it down with the strap that was on the shoe to go under the tongue. I personally feel that makes them a lot more cute.
In terms of quality, these are some of the highest quality shoes I own now — with a leather/suede upper and sturdy rubber sole, you are fashionable, while at the same time very comfortable. You really don’t even feel like you are wearing heels at all!
