Free Year of Credit Monitoring for ALL US Target Shoppers

I just received a new email from Target.   As everyone has heard, they had a major breach in security in November resulting in a lot of credit card fraud.   Not everyone was effected by the credit card fraud BUT they have just learned that in addition to the credit card numbers that were accessed, the criminals also accessed the phone numbers, addresses and emails.

These phone numbers, emails, etc. are now out there for the scamming and spamming.  I luckily was NOT effected by the credit card fraud but have received a number of scammy phone calls since this whole thing went down.  Now we know why.   You can see the letter from Target’s Chairman below and if you are a Target shopper,  be sure to take advantage of the free year of credit monitoring.
