This is a GREAT price for coconut oil. If you are not familiar with coconut oil, it is a perfect vegetable oil alternative and tastes so good!! Not only that but it can be used on those extra dry spots on your skin too (yes, I have done it).
Using it when making popcorn is another VERY tasty treat! 🙂
One of my absolute FAVORITE uses though is this tasty recipe from my mom.
Roasted Pecans with Coconut Oil
Take a 16oz Bag of Pecan Halves and lay them out on a cookie sheet. Preheat oven to 350.
Melt 2 Tbsp coconut oil and coat the pecans well
Sprinkle salt according to taste
Put them in the oven at 350 for 7-10 minutes
Lay out on paper towel and cool.
They taste best cooled!
