
I just received an email from JCPenney about my Step 2 Patio set order — I ordered directly after posting the deal so I am guessing that most/all of you will also be receiving this email:

Due to a pricing error on the Step2 patio and shade play set an over abundance of orders were received. Unfortunately the supplier was not able to fill all of the orders and therefore you will not be receiving the play set you ordered.
I apologize for the incorrect pricing issue and for the inconvenience this caused. This certainly is not the level of service to which we aspire. We hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to serve you and to that end we have included a $50 off $50 savings certificate* for you to use on your next online order. So BAD new is that orders are being canceled — good news is you get $50 to spend at JCPenney online!! While I would have loved to have the Play set — the fact that they are compensating for it with a $50 gift code is pretty good!!

I got the same email too but I checked the website and it said my order was complete and expected ship date from manufacturer was 1/10. Still keeping my fingers crossed that it comes!!!
when did you get the email- wow 50.00- thats awesome- can you tell me what the subject line says? or the email it came from- i get so many emails- i need to do an advanced search- i dont want to miss that.

I got the email yesterday late afternoon. The re line is: jcp order – patio and shade play set (written exactly like that all in lowercase). It is from JCPenney-support@jcpenneyem.com.
thanks so much- i’ll continue to check but i know i havent gotten it- UGH….my order on my account still says pending…does your say cancelled?
I checked today- i still have not gotten a credit on my account for the patio set and i have not gotten an email from jcp- my order still says pending- but it was due to ship on 1/10…i sent them an email this morning- ugh- i hope i get something soon-i’m worried
