Applebee’s Clubhouse Grille Sandwich {Copycat recipe}
What you need:
2 slices thickly sliced Bread or Texas Toast
1 tbsp Butter, softened
2 tsp Mayonnaise (or Miracle Whip)
1 slice Cheddar Cheese
1 slice Jack Cheese
3 slices Deli Sliced Ham
3 slices Deli Sliced Turkey Breast
2 slices crispy Thick Applewood Bacon
2 thin slices Tomato
2 tsp Honey Barbecue Sauce
Shredded Lettuce
How to make an Applebee’s Clubhouse Grille Sandwich at home:
First fry up your bacon and set aside.
Butter one side of each slice of bread and place buttered sides down in skillet and brown until golden.
Once browed, move the sandwich off the skillet and stack ham slices, then turkey slices, then cheese slices in skillet over low until cheese melts.
Place one piece of bread toasted side down.
Spread barbecue sauce on non-toasted side.
Transfer the meat and cheeses from skillet on top of barbecue sauce.
Top with your bacon and then tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
Spread your mayo on the other slice of bread and top your sandwich!
Slice and serve! Enjoy!
