Chocolate Banana Bread
What you need:
½ C. butter, softened to room temperature
½ C. sugar
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 ¾ C. flour
¼ C. cocoa powder
¼ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. baking powder
1 C. chocolate chips
How to make Chocolate Banana Bread:
#1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and lightly flour two loaf pans. I always suggest using butter flavor shortening to grease your pans and then lightly flour. Everything pops out perfect every time.
#2. In a medium bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, vanilla, sugar and butter. Mix well and set aside.
#3. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients; flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder.
#4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, micing well.
#5. Lastly add the chocolate chips.
#6. Pour evenly into the two loaf pans. Bake 45-55 minutes. Around 45 minutes insert a toothpick into the loaves. If it comes out clean, they are done.
Enjoy!
