One of my all time favorite “Fall” recipes is Banana Bread, this Creamy Banana Bread recipe is probably at the top of the list. Well here is another one to add to your favorites too!! Chocolate Banana Bread. So tasty!!
Chocolate Banana Bread
What you need:
½ C. butter, softened to room temperature
½ C. sugar
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ¾ C. flour
¼ C. cocoa powder
¼ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. baking powder
1 C. chocolate chips
How to make Chocolate Banana Bread:
#1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and lightly flour two loaf pans. I always suggest using butter flavor shortening to grease your pans and then lightly flour. Everything pops out perfect every time.
#2. In a medium bowl, combine the mashed bananas, eggs, vanilla, sugar and butter. Mix well and set aside.
#3. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients; flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder.
#4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, micing well.
#5. Lastly add the chocolate chips.
#6. Pour evenly into the two loaf pans. Bake 45-55 minutes. Around 45 minutes insert a toothpick into the loaves. If it comes out clean, they are done.
