Finding a good snack that is easy to make, tasty, not too sugary and easy to make can be a challenge. Everyday the kids come home from school and want a snack. I really don’t like giving the kids anything too heavy (as I want them hungry for dinner!), and at the same time I want it to be healthy. No chips or junk!
Dole has some seriously tasty jarred fruit. We’re talking peaches, pineapple, mandarin orange, mixed fruit and more. They are easy to use as there is no peeling, slicing, any of that. You just open it up and use it! And they are inexpensive.
I love it because I can make something that the kids will like (and me too for that matter), and it only takes a couple minutes. We came up with this incredibly delicious crunchy peach parfait. The kids think it is a treat, meanwhile it’s healthy! DOLE Jarred Fruit is naturally fat-free and cholesterol free and always packed in 100% fruit juice.
You can grab it from the canned fruit aisle and best thing? You can reseal it! Unlike the canned fruit, you just put the lid back on and toss it in the fridge. And done!

Delicious Crunchy Peach Parfait
What you need:
DOLE Jarred Peaches
Plain Greek Yogurt
Granola
Agave Syrup
To make this one, you just scoop in the yogurt, top with agave syrup to taste, pop in about 1/2-3/4 cup of DOLE Jarred Fruit and top with some granola.
Then enjoy. SO easy to make and probably one of the most tasty I’ve had in a while. Easy and 1-2-3!
The kids loved it too! This is also a perfect breakfast treat, I’ve had it the last two mornings after dropping the kids off for school and it is just enough for me.
What fruit would you like on yours? I think I may try the pineapple next time around. Make sure you stock up with a variety and try them out!
Meanwhile, the kids have asked me to make it several times. Even as a dessert!!
