Disney’s Lilo & Stitch now on BluRay!

So I have a confession to make, I had never seen this one!   Disney just released the popular Lilo & Stitch on BluRay!  Somehow this one had totally eluded me so I was quite happy to do a review!

I have to say — this one is totally different from the usual Disney movies! It is kinda a “sci-fi” Disney movie.  Not just magic but a little alien!

Based in Hawaii, you have Lilo and her older sister who have been orphaned. Noni, the older sister is taking care of Lilo and isn’t doing the greatest job. Lilo is a handful and definitely a stubborn little girl.

One night Lilo prays for a friend who will never leave her. She ends up with Stitch. He’s an alien creature that was actually created to destroy. He escaped his planet fell to Earth.  When Lilo finds him, she thinks he is a dog and demands to keep him.

The story then unfolds with the relationship between Stitch, Lilo and Noni.   Quite a fun story too! Plenty of adventure to keep the kids AND the adults entertained.

From what I have heard there are some complaints about bonus features not being included on this 2-pack, as I had never seen the original DVD I wouldn’t know anything about that and didn’t miss them at all.

That said — the transition to BluRay is astounding with perfect color and clarity.  I loved it and so did both of my kids. They wanted to watch it a few times the first week we got it!
