I got a package back in January, courtesy of  SodaStream as the sponsor of this review and giveaway.  While I was very excited to get it, my husband wasn’t quite as excited — in fact he was a bit leery to even taste it at first!
First MAJOR plus for me was that it was extremely easy to set up. Â I took it out of the box, put the gas in and was set to go!
All you have to do is fill the bottle up with water, chill the water and hook it up to the machine.
The steps are very clear and easy to follow, Â I carbonated the water and we decided to try out the plain ‘ole Cola to start with. Â Surprise, surprise!! Â It was actually really good. Â Even my husband liked it! Â In fact, Â get this… he likes it MORE than regular Coke! Â He says that the aftertaste is way better.
The nice thing is there is LESS sugar. Â They also use Splenda in the Diet drinks instead of aspartame.
I can definitely see saving a LOT of money with this one, Â I am a huge Dr. Pepper fan and I tried the Soda Stream variation; Dr Pete and I will be replacing my usual Dr Pepper now.

I love this! We used to have an old soda machine when I was a kid and we loved carbonated juices! So much healthier and it brings back some great memories I would love to share with my kids 🙂

I have never tried SodaStream. I wanted to cut back on drinking pop and this sounds like a great way to do that.
I like that I can make “fresh” soda, when my kids want it & the flavors my kids like, in an appropriate serving size. I get so tired of bottles of soda going flat, ’cause one person thought they would like it & then never drink it again.
don’t know if this is where i’m supposed to leave the blogpost comment or not. I think i would likethe sodastream not only because it would save money, but because their diet sodas use splenda instead of aspartame, of which i’m allergic to!

I haven’t gotten to try one yet, but everyone I have heard talk about them Loves them! I think it would be alot cheaper and the less sugar is a plus for sure =) I have looked at them at the store and they seem to have alot of flavors that I would love to try!
I love the idea of being able to drink healthy sodas. I stopped drinking sodas a long time ago because they were so unhealthy. Also, I think it’s a cheaper alternative to buying commercial sodas.

I like that you can save money on soda. Hubby insists there is always soda in the house. Also that it has less sugar. And that you are reducing bottles, cans, etc that are being used.
The whole concept is pretty cool and the person who marketed it is brave to go up against the soda companies. It saves money and no storing cans and bottles = more space in your house and less trash (for those that don’t recycle). It’s a win all around! Would really like one of these!!
I like the SodaStream because you can have cheaper soft drinks and carbaneted water and no all the plastic bottles hanging around.

I really like the idea of saving money plus the benefit of less sugar! As a stay at home working mom, I try to cut pennies wherever I can! I was just looking at one of these last night at WalMart and thought the concept was pretty awesome!

The lack of bottles we have to recycle.

It is cheaper then buying soda all the time, it takes up less space then a 12pack. And it would be nice to have for when the husband has his friends over, they can make and choose what kind they want to drink.

Saves money, less sugar and its great just to add fizz to water! Plus save on the plastic bottles and having bottle deposits to pay and bottle to return for your deposit.

I love sodastreams, my sister has one and I really want one, I just can’t afford to buy one.
I love having constant access to sparkling water. It’s great for cocktails and so refreshing after a workout or out in the sun!
