I was lucky enough to attend the local premiere screening last night with my kids and we all LOVED it!   You are definitely going to want to take the kids come Friday! 🙂    True testament to the greatness of a children’s movie: BOTH my 6 year old daughter and my 5 year old son sat through the entire movie with not a single complaint!  No bathroom breaks, no “I want to sit in your lap”, nothing!!

So back to this awesome new toy… I can guarantee you that when you get out of the movie, your kids will be asking for the new toys.  Mine were! We have a wish list of Monsters University toys now… haha.

Fisher Price has come out with this great one which is interactive!!  Imaginext toys are always pretty great and this one is no exception!

Monsters U Scare Factory Playset by Imaginext®

The Monsters U Scare Floor playset lets you walk through the different jobs that Mike & Sulley had at Monsters Inc. Beginning with the slide out mailroom on the bottom, you can drop in and sort the two scare canisters and three pieces of mail by placing a figure on the disk and rotating it. A cafeteria is located around the back as well, where Mike and Sulley held their next job. Also included are a mail cart, broom and dustpan representing time in maintenance. On the left side of the set a platform will rotate out that contains the door repair area, and on the right will be a CDA observation deck. Also in the set is the Scare floor where you can see the doors moving through the factory on the back wall (driven by a disk on the top of package). When you remove a door and place it into its station the station will automatically clamp the door. Place a scare canister on the holder, rotate the disk, and watch it fill. Move it to the other side of the factory and you can empty the canister into a larger canister, which will fill with the turn of another disk. Included are the playset, Mike, Sulley, 3 doors, 2 scare canisters, 4 pieces of mail, mail cart , dustpan, broom and 4 figure disk activations.
