If you are heading to Hollywood the Hilton Garden Inn is a great way to experience the Glitz and Glamour!
Just 2 blocks from Hollywood Blvd and the Hollywood/Highland mall — which by the way, is where the Dolby theater is! This hotel gives you just enough distance from the hustle and bustle while still being just a 5 minute jaunt.
The nice this is, you ARE close enough to walk. You can walk to the Chinese Mann theater and see the hand and footprints, or visit the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum.
Other fun facts… just a block East down Hollywood Blvd — corner of Hollywood Blvd and Las Palmas is where Julia Roberts was standing when she was picked up by Richard Gere in Pretty Woman and her apartment is really a building just up Las Palmas too.
Ok, ok, enough about Hollywood and back to the Hilton Garden Inn.
The hotel was truly awesome. They not only have a full breakfast available (with omelets made to order!) but there is a standard bar and dining area too. While on the Disney trip it was a great place to wind down and have a drink 🙂
They also have a pool, although I didn’t have any time to visit it while I was there — it is very “Hollywood”!
The funny thing with Hollywood — I lived there for a good 13 years… — is that the Blvd itself can be quite dirty (as are the side streets!), but you can always find a gem in the rough. I mean look at that pool area?!
The rooms themselves were nice, they were set up with a nice television, comfortable beds and all the amenities. I enjoyed the time that I did have there a lot.
Definitely a place to add to your list if you are heading to Hollywood!

Disclosure: I was provided a two night stay during the Disney Brave event in return for spreading the word about their hotel. All opinions are 100% my own as always!
