Kroger & Affiliate Stores have issued a recall of select Private Selection brand frozen berries. The FDA informed Kroger that a sample of the berries tested by the FDA was found to be contaminated with Hepatitis A. To date, no customers have reported being ill.
All Kroger and Affiliate stores are affected across the county. All potentially affected items have been removed from store shelves.
The affected items are:
- Private Selection Frozen Triple Berry Medley, 48 OZ (BEST BY: 07-07-20; UPC: 0001111079120)
- Private Selection Frozen Triple Berry Medley, 16 OZ (BEST BY: 06-19-20; UPC: 0001111087808)
- Private Selection Frozen Blackberries, 16 OZ (BEST BY: 06-19-20, 07-02-20; UPC: 0001111087809)
If you have purchased one of the above products, DO NOT consume them and DO return them to the store for a full refund or replacement.
