Summer time here in the “high desert” is HOT. Not only is it desert, it’s also mountain altitude. You don’t realize how being a mile higher than sea level actually makes a big difference. Sun exposure is more intense and it is just plain ole’ hot out.
We love taking trips to the pool, the park, you name it. So making fun and COLD treats for the kids is a must. We’ve been making fresh fruit popsicles but our latest is milkshakes!
There are so many fun and easy mixtures you can do. You only need a couple items that you probably have in the house, and if not, just hop over to your local Kroger and grab ’em! Have you tried the Promised Land milk from Kroger? It is creamy and perfect for milkshakes.
Today we made this tasty fresh Pineapple milkshake and oh my goodness, you need to try it!
