I received the Deluxe My Coupon Keeper System for review at no charge. No further compensation was received. All opinions are 100% my own — as always!
Organizing coupons so that they are actually USABLE is quite a challenge. Â I’ll be honest, I actually stopped couponing for a while because the time that I was spending on organization was too much with everything else that I had going on. And even then it was MESSY.
So I was very excited to get the My Coupon Keeper for a review.
A lot of people use binders, I have never really been “in love” with that method because you don’t see at a glance everything that you have. Â It is a lot of flipping through pages, adding time.
The My Coupon Keeper is a tub. It fits in the shopping basket seat perfectly and you can clearly see what you have.  It comes with dividers AND labels which are easy to set up and organize.  Literally… my 6 year old did it for me 😉
The end product is pretty awesome too! Â And VERY easy to organized. Â Once you have clipped your coupons, you just toss ’em under the applicable category and she has EVERYTHING covered, let me tell ya!
The other thing that I absolutely LOVE?! Â It comes with little folders that you can pull what you need and put in a little folder to then give those coupons to the cashier. Â Total organization and really… it is just sensible.
It is easy, using the My Coupon Keeper, to come up with a weekly routine. Â Clip your coupons on Sunday when you get the paper (and/or Tuesday when they come in the mailbox for some!). Â Immediately drop them under the correct tabs in your tub.
Then when you are planning your shopping trip, they are all organized by product type!! You just pull them out of the tub and put them in your little folder. I recommend still bringing your tub, just in case you find a great deal at the store — you don’t want to miss out on an EPIC deal just because you didn’t have ALL your coupons! 😉

I have a coupon keeper with categories that I sometimes use although the trip yesterday involved checking Sunday’s coupons & cutting the ones I would need & some I didn’t think I’d use but did & just holding them in my hand with the shopping list. I like this system’s idea of putting the coupons you’re going to use on one side & the ones that go with the things in your shopping cart on the other. Takes out the chance of dropping them in the store.

I sort of don’t! I clip them and keep them all in an envelope and then take the ones I’m using to the store with me. I used to be a lot more organized with them in a sectioned binder.

I don’t currently use a system. I just check the coupons each weekend, cut what I need and toss in an envelope. Sigh…I used to be so much better at this!

Years ago I used to use the photo boxes to carry my coupons. Then I made myself a binder but it just didn’t go well. I am now usuing a large zip envelope and I spend WAY to much time trying to find my coupons. My husband whines because it takes so long to find my coupons and then says, “I thought you had your coupons organized. I get frustrated and want to quit using them. I would love to have the coupon organizer- divided tabs to easily identify the catagories. A latch to hold the lid closed (I have dropped my boxes and there goes my coupons-embarrassing). This is a great contest! Crossing my fingers!

Right now I use a combination of an accordian style coupon holder & an envelope for when I’m too lazy to file my stack. This Coupon Keeper would be so awesome!

Ouch..I just saw the price on the keeper. Being on a fixed income, unfortunately, that’s not something I can afford. I hope over time, they drop the price so it’s more affordable because then I would definitely want to get one!

I use a binder but it is tough to keep organizee
Susie says
Hybrid method – I keep my inserts whole and in hanging folders in plastic bins organized by date. I have an envelope system in another envelope sized plastic box with my clipped or loose coupons. Then I have an accordion file in my purse with a section for each store and clipped/loose coupons for items or brands I know I’m always looking for a sale on. It sounds like a lot but I just am not good about clipping my inserts.
