With the kids in public school, this time of year is always rough when it comes to germs. The flu and colds are contagious in their earliest stages so often kids are still at school spreading the bug before they are even really hit with it.
With Oliver, my little super-hero preemie, we have all kinds of things that we do to prevent illness in the house.
I’ve gone from the crazy mom that makes the kids take their clothes off and change when they get home from school, to just being extra cautious with the hand washing. They must wash their hands when they get home from school before touching anyone or anything.
Simple rule but so far it has worked well the last two years!
We also do some extra immune boosting with Kids Emer-gen-c.
When we do get hit, I love that I can easily get a few coupons for some of the necessities. Things like decongestants and cough medicine can add up money wise, so I love finding coupons!
