Walking the Red Carpet with the Stars! Iron Man 3 Premiere #IronMan3Event

The past week has just been a whirlwind of total awesomeness. You will see a number of posts from me over the next couple of weeks about all the incredible aspects of it.

Obviously one of the biggest highlights of the trip was the premiere itself. I mean the experience of walking the Red Carpet WITH the stars of the movie, plus so many more incredible celebrities was enough to make a grown woman squeal 😉

The Iron Man 3 Hollywood Premiere was held on Hollywood Blvd at the El Capitan theatre. Myself and the other 24 bloggers arrived to the premiere just minutes before Robert Downey Jr.  Our first taste at the excitement being RDJ and his wife driving down the street (feet from us!) in this gorgeous 2014 Audi R8 V10 Spyder!

I was quite impressed with how much time Robert Downey Jr spent with his fans signing autographs and taking pics! Was quite the sight to see all the screaming fans vying for his attention.  As he walked through the crowd we continued on the red carpet.  Not to be disappointed, with plenty of star sightings!  I am trying to do this post, will all of the pictures I was able to take so you can get the idea (but excuse the quality of some! Rush cell phone pics can be blurry!)

Don Cheadle!!  AKA The Iron Patriot in Iron Man 3!

Emily Van Camp!  For those of you that don’t know who she is— she plays the main character, Emily Thorne, in the TV show Revenge.   She was there with her on screen and real life boyfriend Josh Bowman too!

Unfortunately we had to surrender our media devices at the door, believe me I would have LOVED to be snapping pictures in the lobby!!  I caught a glimpse of Peter Facinelli in the theater. BUT the best was actually on the departure from the theater!!  I walked literally two feet from Tom Hiddleston (aka Loki in the Avengers!!), and WOW he is hot!! Very tall too, which I was surprised about as you see him short in the movie but he is actually almost as tall as Thor (Chris Hemsworth) — if not the same height.  So as star struck as I was when I saw Tom, I was hating that I didn’t have my camera!

As I walked through the lobby, again I walked FEET from Chris Hemsworth!!! Thor was right there next to me!  So, I did what any starstruck, crazy lady would do right?  I went out, claimed my phone from security and walked right back in for a picture 😉

Yes, it is far away but we are talking THOR here!!

One other neat thing about this premiere is that even though we were already seated in the theater, we were able to keep an eye on everything happening on the red carpet as they had a live feed to the theater.   They showed some of the interviews with Ty Simpkins, Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow and more.    Plus they had the entire cast on the stage right before the start of the movie!
