I have posted a bit about traveling over the past couple of months. Between Top Tips for Road Trips and Traveling for the Holidays… my next thought was what is the “ideal” car?
I haven’t actually even thought too much about it. Sure there are fancy schmancy cars out there that I would LOVE to have and would probably fit the bill of “ideal” but without the money to buy ’em that is kind of a useless notion.
So what would be the “must-have” in terms of functionality and features for Mom but still on a budget? I’m actually asking here — I want your feedback.
My thoughts?
Well, obviously enough seats for your family and to safely hold as many car seats/boosters that you need. Trunk space. That is a must! Someone actually tried to sell me the Mazda 2 back in June… I was like, WHERE do you expect me to put my groceries?! LOL.
And of course I would like it to look nice and be budget friendly. A long time ago, I wouldn’t even have considered a Kia, but after riding around the new Sorento back in August I would! It was pretty snazzy.
Your turn! Tell me what you consider the basics, what do you look at in buying a car?
Content and/or other value provided by our partner, Kia Motors
I need a vehicle with enough leg room for 3 growing teenagers and 2 little ones. I love stow and go compartments to hide and store stuff. I need lots of truck space and a ton of buttons!! Need a built in tv/dvd to entertain the kids on long trips and a vehicle with EXCELLENT gas mileage!!!
The Tahoe has been the perfect car for me. I absolutely love it, aside from gas mileage. I can’t get away from a big gas guzzler though with my needs on a ranch. I am switching to a suburban soon though for added space. We are getting tight hauling kids, sports gear and the added length is needed. 135,000 miles on my Tahoe and not a problem.
I would love something a bit smaller than our Envoy that we have now. I like the availability of the third row of seats for hauling my two daughters friends around though. I do like the room for groceries and traveling, but really really need fuel economy.
I need a car that will fit two kids, have room for groceries, but also be big enough to load big stuff from home depot.
I need a car that will easily fit 3 kids, i am thinking something like a smaller suv that has good gas mileage! I loved my jeep cherokee but it was old and i had to sell, id love a newer version though! 🙂
Honda Odyessy! Woohoo!
I would like something that’s good on gas…currently I drive a SUV…ugghhh
I’m happy with put Pacifica but if I had to choose I’d go with either Hyundai Santa Fe or Tucson
I’d love a mini van! One button and walla! All the doors and trunk open.
I love my saturn outlook. it has a third row, reverse camera, and a good amount of room.
My ideal car would be one with enough leg room for my 6’1″ frame, my husband to be, my daughter and my soon to be born son. I’d like a little extra room in storage for road trips, and of course good gas mileage.
Definitely something better on gas.
I need a car that saves on gas.. I am a mother of two, in girl scouts and we do alot of driving.
Mini van!!
A car that gets better gas mileage, fits agrowing family of five, room for camping gear and blue lol (oh, and sice were dreaming- free)
A vehicle that holds all 4 of us with a few extra places for friends is a must. My husband is a tall guy and has to have the seat all the way back…. We also need to have a place to haul stuff when we go on trips. We have been thinking about getting a used Tahoe to replace our truck. If money wasn’t an option, I would probably get a Honda Odyssey. 🙂 For now I am happy with our vehicles that get us where we are going. Our Dodge Caravan has been a great vehicle for us. It gives us the space to haul extra people and things. 🙂
I need a car that fits 6 kids. Enough room to put in a car seat and booster seat. Enough leg room for my growing teenager. Cargo room to spare (grocery shopping for 8). When we go out of town we take our great dane. If there was a car big enough for us that would save on gas, that would be awesome. 😉
I think I have a great car – Hyundai Entourage (they don’t make them anymore 🙁 ) but it is a mini-van – so lots of room for kids and adults and a dvd player and lots of up holders – a place for the different size strollers – so I would say a car or mini van that has enough room for all ‘kids’ great gas mileage, great for traveling, easy to clean and as susan said – free!
The car has to have plenty of room for my 3 kids..
My ideal car has a sporty look on the outside, a roomy feel on the inside, comfort for travel, and great gas mileage!
My ideal car fits all six of us in it comfortably, and doesn’t guzzle gas. I like my van 😉
My ideal car is something that can fit my whole family and all our gear on road trips. We are a family of six that often brings our dog, a great Dane/german shepard mix. So, a suburban or something equivalent.
MY ideal car would be something similar only larger than my Chrysler Town and Country minivan. It gets about 26 MPG and its a great car. We just wish it had one more extra seat and a double row of stow and go compartments. An added bonus would be optional ability to turn those stow and go’s in refrigeration boxes for storing groceries and traveling needs like snack and cool beverages. It is a great van overall-
Awesome gas mileage as I do a lot of errands and running with the kids, yet tons of room!
I need something with lots of trunk space. Right now I drive an envoy and that’s the best part about it.
My ideal car is a Jeep Liberty…..it has enough space, and would hopefully get good gas mileage
greenday14fan@yahoo.com
My ideal car is anyone that has great gas milage, white and safe…
My ideal car would be a Mercedes Benz. Sweet ride. Not bumpy at all and large enough to fit the whole family and room in the trunk for “stuff”..
My ideal car will have lots of room but not too big. I really like the Ford Escapes.
Right now I have a Ford Explorer. My ideal car would be something a little smaller and better on gas. I live in the city, so while it is great to haul things and people, I would really like something a little smaller.
My ideal car would be a black Range Rover or a super sports car convertable. I have a 2011 Nissan Armada and I love my SUV.
1. great on gas
2. lots of leg room even in the back seat
3. lots of trunk room
4. not a ton of “bells” stuff you have to learn
5. very good on the budget
6. standard size tires that don’t cost a arm and a leg to get replaced.
good gas mileage, under $30,000 and space for my two kiddos.
Several things come to mind! 1) American Made 2) Good gas mileage 3) It has to hold all of our stuff!
I love my (older) Ford Explorer, I just wish it had better gas mileage! Good luck!
I would love a cute sports car like a porsche. I guess i’m going through my mid-life crisis:)
I’d love to have a classic car- something to work on together with the kids and to pass on the skills and traditions of my family. There’s nothing quite like a girl who can tune an engine and change a tire!
My ideal car has 3 rows but is not a van! lol
My idea car is sporty, but safe. It accomodates a mature woman who is tall and not petite, but is not a humongeous monster. It has all of the bells and whistles and conveniences. It has the latest gadgets and technology. It must have blue tooth so I can talk and drive.
I have two kiddos both in booster seats with backs, but I would look for something that easily fits 2 boosters and a carseat, or even a few carseats! We have 6 young nieces and nephews, and sometimes like to take one with us somewhere! It also would need to have ample storage space for camping, road trips, etc… I guess something larger would suit us 🙂
Something that can fit our family plus a little extra room for additions. Good gas mileage.
My ideal car is the Honda Oddessy
I really need a good reliable vehicle for my family.Good gas mileage and enough leg room for my boys is a plus
My ideal car is the one in which is affordable in same time unique and safe.
My Ideal car would be one that I can fit my whole family in that gets better gas mileage and has a kick butt warranty!! I
My ideal car for me is a 69 shelby mustang….for the family it is a newer dodge durango
Aside from the need to seat 5 – 6 people, awesome gas mileage and an easy access to put shopping bags or anything I need to tote around I think a dvd player is needed if there are long road trips for the future. I NEVER thought I would be one to say that but with a 5, 3 and 6 month old I am figuring out that a distraction from picking on each other or bugging us is ideal -haha.
I have 3 kids, so an SUV or minivan works best for me! Something with good gas mileage 🙂
I have 2 kids right now so I would love a Honda Minivan with all the bells and whistle!
good on gas, never breaks down, safe, dvd player installed
I’d love a smaller SUV – down to 1 car and hubby needs something!
My sister just purchased a new Kia Optima…..sweet 4 door mid-size that gets AWESOME fuel economy. I’m totally in love with this car.
I love my Pilot. Fits 8 + stuff, pretty good gas mileage and reliable. We tend to keep our cars for a long time, so reliability is a must. And it’s great in the snow! 🙂
Reliable, economical and with enough room to transport 2 sons with autism(they need space).
My ideal car is a pink hummer
My ideal car would be something with 3 rows of seating
I got hooked on mini vans years ago….and always feel so confined when I am in other vehicles. So, for me…I need space…roomy….and plenty of room to put groceries or other things…and I need room for my dog to come along and look outside. 🙂
Our van has a built in TV for the kids and plenty of room, but we need better gas mileage!
I never thought I’d be a minivan Mom but I love mine. It has power everything and plenty of room to drive everyone’s friends.
I love my Prius and the gas savings I get with it. I do wish I had a bigger trunk without having to put the seats down so I could carry my son’s bike to the park.
I would love a Toyota mini van would be my favorite vehicle.
my ideal car is a new mustang debbie jackson
djackson1958 at hotmail dot com
Right now, my ideal car is a car that fits my family (8 people) comfortably, and doesn’t burn through gas.
My ideal vehicle would be one that my family of 5 can comfortably travel in. I would love a van with good gas mileage!
My vehicle has to allow space for my stroller and storage room.
I would love a Toyota Venza.
Oooh —- me too!! I got one as a rental car earlier this year and fell in love.
Economy, comfort, performance, looks in that order
I would love an SUV with 3rd row AND plenty of trunk storage.
I already have my ideal car — a 2007 Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible, red with black ladybug spots! 🙂 Can’t beat that!
I would love to have a mini van with automatic doors. Need plenty of room for the kids and their friends and something that is not a gas guzzler.
AKia was my perfect car until someone was testing and totaled it. I have the “2002 Mimi Mobile” that drinks gas like it was water, smells funny and it sings when you turn it off. Yes I know the PERFECT car-it was once mine.
Budget friendly, fuel efficient, meets or hopefully exceeds safety standards and offers a great warranty! Space wise – not too large, not too small, has plenty of leg room and adjusts easily when switching drivers.
My ideal car (or dream car!!!) would be a Mercedes Convertible. Of course, my practical car would be an SUV, like a Chevy Tahoe!! 🙂
My ideal car would be a new Ford Mustang
My Ideal car is a Hummer:)
This what I need in a car: Economy, Comfort, and Performance.
Plenty of leg room in the backseat & good gas mileage.
Eco-friendly SUV with plenty of room for kids and all that comes with them. 🙂
My ideal car is safe, powerful and comfortable
I would really like a VW C.C. but right now I would settle for any car that was paid off.
My ideal car is something big (5 kids and groceries) and good on gas…. OH yeah and cheap. lol
The Toyota Highlander is my ideal car. There’s plenty of room, but it rides like a car. I have tons of space for groceries, and the back can fold down when we buy something big.
I’m not too picky when buying a car just looking for something safe and has to be a Ford because that is my go to car!
My ideal car would be big and comfortable enough for my family of six. We go out of town to visit family and friends often, so great gas mileage is a must! For our family, we love amenities. Dvd players, cup holders, storage and leg room are important. I would love a place to put my groceries where i don’t have to worry about them roll around, breaking or getting lost in the car! haha
My ideal car is roomy with lots of leg room and not too low to the ground. It has to have four doors and needs to get great gas mileage. It also has to have the latest safety features.
My ideal car is a Ford Edge or Flex. Big enough for my family but good gas mileage.
My ideal car is a Honda
I would prefer at least two rows with plenty of room in the back. Not too expensive and good on gas.
My ideal car would get terrific gas mileage and have an excellent safety record. I also want something that is roomy inside so that long long trips don’t become miserable. Having an exterior that is aesthetically pleasing would be like the icing on top of the cake. 🙂
My ideal car is a old VW bug..would love to have one
One that is paid off lol I love my Pontiac Torrent SUV…
I would love to have a Dodge Ram King Cab with an extended bed! Things I must have in a vehicle are Power steering, A/C, & Radio w/Cd player. I think these are pretty standard in most vehicles. We love to yard sale and go to flea markets, so the extended bed will come in handy when we find our TREASURES!
One thing I learned from doing research after getting the short end of the stick when purchasing a new car is, first NEVER pay sticker price, and NEVER pay for Dealer Prep and Destination charges. These fees are already included in the manufactures retail price, but Dealers add them on again at the dealership! You can tell them right off you will not pay these fees, because you know they were included in the manufacturers price, which can save you from $800 to $1,500 depending on the dealer. Try it, you will be pleasantly surprised. And believe it or not, this time of year thru the beginning of March is the best time of year to buy a car. Hope these tips help!
Thanks for this awesome giveaway!
I would need a 4-wheel drive with good mileage, but is still comfortable with the added amenities. I love my Liberty because of the back hatch that shields me from the rain while loading groceries.
Toyota Sienna, fits everyone and everything comfortably and easy to load and unload
A car that runs good for one lol, good on gas, roomy on the inside im really not picky
My ideal car would be economical, storage room, enough room to haul things, a stick and mostly dependable.
Ford Pinto
My ideal car has a DVD system, gets good gas mileage, and is big enough for my 8 member family to all ride in it together. We have been taking 2 cars everywhere since our youngest was born almost 2 years ago.
A minivan. What kind would be up in there, but I would love it to have a built in dvd, rearview camera, fold down seats, good gas mileage and is brand new. 🙂
My ideal car is a Honda Pilot. I need something to fit 7-8 people but I want 4 wheel drive and I am not a minivan kind of girl 😉
My ideal vehicle has great gas mileage, enough room for car seats and the people sitting in the seats in front of the car seats, awesome safety features (especially for kids), rear windshield wipers, multiple points for car chargers, a little room for storage, and and mp3 player connection point would be icing on the cake. 🙂
My ideal car would have plenty of leg room, storage cubbies for toys and such, good trunk space, and would be easy to clean after spilled fruit juice and soda.
Space for two car seats & extra room for addt’l passengers. Room in the back for all our soccer gear & grocceries – and doens’t cost a fortune at the gas pump! Does this car exist?!
I want safety first and good gas mileage because both of our sons and their families are about 8 1/2 hours from us in different directions and it is important to be with them whenever possible. We have been looking for another car and I guess at this point it might be an Altima! I want that feeling I have when we bought a Mazda 626 when they first came out and had the excellent lumbar support. We have a 1998 Camry right now and so need a new car.
Want a car that gets great gas mileage, with lots of trunk space and looks good.
I would love a sporty, fun looking car, with crossover styling and great gas mileage!
My husband and I recently purchased a Ford Flex, and even though the thing is pretty ugly, it has a ton of space, the gas mileage is good, and I (who have a 36″ inseam) can sit in the third row comfortably. For now, this is my ideal car.
My ideal vehicle is is a large 4×4 extended cab truck. Living in Minnesota the 4 wheel drive is great, extended cab to fit the kids or shopping stuff.
Great on gas, big enough for 5 kids with car seats and groceries and cheap enough to pay cash for, but in good condition. 🙂
I want a Dodge Ram 3500 Crew Cab with Lift kit 😀
My ideal car never breaks down or needs maintenance! 😛
I look at reliability and if it will fit the whole family and then some
i need a mini van
Very nice, I could really use a new car. Mines is terrible. Thanks for the giveaway.
My ideal vehicle would be something I could see over the hood, has enough space for our daily living and isn’t a gas hog. Preferably an SUV.
I have a Ford Edge and love it.
The “Ideal Car” must be roomie and be good with gas! 🙂
a nice economic Car. I sure could use one since mine stopped functioning
My ideal car would get awesome gas mileage, have plenty of leg room and would need minimal maintenance.
I’ve always wanted a Ford Mustang!!!
My ideal car has tons of trunk space, the ability to fit car seats in the back seat without hitting the front seats, lots of leg room, and a back-up camera.
Anything Ford as long as it is safe for the family and easy to drive all year long!
an suv with comfortable seats i have a mitsubishi suv and love it
And I could open my van doors remotely…
Good on gas milage and comfortable for a family of 3
I love smaller SUV’s and was thinking of getting one next year. Unfortunately the 2 I loved are not an option anymore. The Ford Escape has changed to some weird crossover thing and the Jeep Liberty is not available after 2012. Not sure what’s replacing it. Hopefully something very similar!
My ideal car is a gas saver. I’m constantly on the go with my three crazy kids!
i like the Kia holiday. It looks roomy enough to pack all our camping gear and the interior seems roomy enough for all the kids.
I really want a Honda CRV. I hope to get one by the middle of next year. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I would love a minivan!!
An SUV with “car” mileage, small but spacious seating.
I really like Ford Focuses, right now I am driving an Oldsmobile van from 1999, any new car would be a blessing
My ideal car would be 4 doors and automatic transmission! The complete opposite of my husband’s ideal car 😉
Truly the ideal vehicle, would be to make hybrid cars more affordable so we can all be kinder on mother nature. If she is happy, I can make due with pretty much any vehicle.
I would love a hyundai Vercuez. With 7 seater options!
oh this car has lots of leg room!!! oh nice!
I need 3 rows! I have 5 kids! but no van! 🙂 lol
Either a hyundia or a toyota sienna
we recently purchased a volt and I love it!
Amazing gas mileage, 4 wheel drive and safety
I love something good on gas.Airbags, past safety tests and has room for car seats. i want a comfy ride too.!
a ford pickup truck
I am currently a minivan driving mom…..yeah it’s nice having all of the space and seats….but I’m kind of over it. I want an SUV now…….a Land Rover would be my dream car. I like the fancy features, plus the storage, and the seating……
Ideal car-something other then my minivan.
I look for a mid-size four door with lots of trunk space. I must have airconditioning and I’d like good safety features and good mileage
must be reliable and cheap on gas
While I love my Pilot, a minivan would have been the more practical route for us. I need more middle row legroom with two car seats and more stow and go. On the plus, I love to drive my car anywhere with or without kids…not sure if I would love going out for a girls night out in my minivan although it would certainly fit more girls 😉
I need a car/van big enough to fit all 5 of us… That is including 2 car seats. I would also like it to be good on gas 🙂
Chevy Equinox is an absolutely wonderful car!!!! I love love mine and will keep on keeping on with them =) Remote start is a must!!!! Especially if you live in cold weather. I was spoiled and it came in mine and do not think I could ever go without!!!
I need a car that’s big enough for two people and two dogs. I wish for one that would also get great gas mileage, which my Jeep does not.
My ideal car would just be something with good gas mileage and small, preferably with heated seats since I live near cold weather 🙂
The basics for me are safety (#1), comfort, gas mileage, cost of repairs, engine size (I prefer a 6 cyl), and whether it has 4WD.
My basics are room for more than 2 car seats, room to haul all the groceries and my husband’s Army gear, 6 cylinder. I currently drive a Durango and it fits all my needs.
I’m a suv lover cars just seem to small.
I’m definitely a road tripper! So, I’m always invested in a car that is good on gas mileage, able to seat 6 and can definitely pack a decent amount. But being a military brat, I’ve learned so many ways to pack, I’m able to bring the minimal, and make due, so with today’s car space, my mind is very efficient on space. So, Gas mileage, and seating are my main priorities for my ideal car, and of course if its American made, its even better!
Good Mileage, Good Safety Rating,
Once you try a mini van you wont go back to a car, there’s lots of leg room, sits up high, plenty of room for the kids to have fun with DVD players, games, and wiggling room. I have owned several different ones, but I lean towards American made, Chevy or Dodge Caravan is my favorite. I also like the body style with the nose being short you can see the other cars so well and parking is a breeze, and the v-6 engine has great gas mileage!
I am far too in love my my GMC to consider any other vehicle.
SUV’s!!!
With 2 strollers, 2 car seats & 2 growing boys, I definitely need an SUV! I’m in love with the Nissan Murano!
We only have one child. My ideal vehicle would be a larger car or smaller SUV. My husband has a HUGE 4×4 4 door full size diesel truck…
We have four kids so I’m pretty limited. My ideal car for just me would be a little different, however, things being what they are, I need room for 6, minimum, and I need room for groceries and such. The Tahoe won’t even cut it for us. There isn’t enough cargo room. My ideal is the Ford Expedition XL or the Suburban. I like Ford better since they didn’t take the bailout, so there you go. 🙂
It would have to be something that gets great fuel millege and is comfortable enough for the four of us and all our stuff on a 10.5 hour trip.
My ideal car would get about 30-40 mpg and have plenty of room to put groceries in it!
I’m happy with my Civic! With one child I can get away with having a small car. I would love to own an Acura RSX. But if we decide to have more children (or if they come along) I want a Jeep. 😛
I am currently without a personal car, and I have been doing research on the hybrid cars. I like the idea of them, so my ideal car would be as eco friendly as possible
Small, small, small! My hubby has been shopping for a Smart Car for me (but shh, I’m not supposed to know!)
I’ve been driving an SUV for years, so I’m in the market with something with maybe a camel or hatchback but not a full on SUV. And something good on gas – my clunker has to be filled up twice a week!
I am looking right now, it’s hard because I have 8 kids so we need something with lots of room and seats..
I just bought a car! The must haves I looked for was that it was a comfortable fit for my husband (who is 6 ft as opposed to my 5’3) also, good gas mileage, and cruise control. I also love the hatchback… I ended up getting a 2013 Ford Focus Hatchback and I absolutely love it!
I had a Family Van for years. Now the kids are older, I wanted a smaller car. We got a Kia Sportage! Love it!!!!
I would love something for my double stroller 🙂
I want an SUV with great gas mileage
I look for room for 3 car seats and a large stroller
I’m not sure if my “ideal” car exists! LOL! I would like to have plenty of leg room in the back, and plenty of storage / trunk space. Built in navigation, CD changer and at least a port to plug in an MP3 player. Really great gas mileage is important too… If I could get at least 25 mpg, that would be awesome!
I would love a new camry to replace my old one!
I am looking for a new used bigger car (suv) I have a small hatchback and need room for laundry groceries and room for the little one to play and all her gear
My ideal car would be anything bigger than what I have but just as good on gas! lol
Some of my must have’s are simple. 1. Good gas mileage. We moved to TX and all our family is in the Midwest. We would like to visit so good gas mileage would be great. 2. 4WD. Same reason as as # 1, because you never know when the weather will change while you are traveling. Plus, we love to travel for fun, too. 3. Space. We have a large dog and eventually, when the family gets bigger, we would like something to grow into. 4. Sitting up high. I am short, and when I used to drive in my 1st car, a Honda, I felt like a dwarf. It is just awful, not being able to see around someone in the large truck/SUV to be able to safely take a right turn onto the road. 5. Pep. A good auto with some umph! is a must, someting with a good engine.
A Cadillac Convertible– LOL
Nice automobile really nice
My idea car is one that’s big enough to haul my kids around and all their stuff but not so big that I feel like I’m driving a tank!
Heat and air in the back of the car so the kiddos are comfortable, enough seating, large trunk space I lug around a double stroller so I have to have room for it and for groceries
My mini van is the ideal car for me. It transports lots of people, holds lots of groceries (and staples paper cases), and sits me up high for a good view of the road.
A 1960’s Convertible Mustang
I look at gas mileage, safety ratings, and how well it will do in Minnesota winters.
Enough room for a couple car seats, and seat belts that stay tight when you install the car seat. Enough trunk room to fit a jogging stroller too!
Subaru!
I want a car that’s safe, economical and comfortable!
Mine is a Porsche boxster.
seats 7, has great fuel economy (30+ mpg. hard to come by for a larger vehicle), affordable, and plenty of cargo space. separate climate controls for the front and back would be perfect, and XM radio because i can’t stand hunting for stations when we get out of range.
My ideal car would have 4 doors, a HUGE trunk, is great on gas & does not break down every other week.
The ideal car would be one with great gas mileage 🙂
Porsche boxster
My ideal car would be roomy for my family, uses very little gas, pretty and if we are speaking dream ideal it would fly! 😉 lol my next vehicle will probably be a Tahoe.
We need one like this really badly! Our family is getting bigger but our car is smaller. This will be one of the vehicles we’ll consider buying.
Last year we purchased a Kia Sportage!!
We absolutely love it!!!! It is a small SUV..
Gets decent gas mileage!! Has 4wh drive!
Plenty of room!!
Corvette !
Ford flex
Trailblazer
I need a big car to fit my family big suv
I love my Honda Civic however my 2 growing boys need something bigger!!
I love cars with a lot of buttons
Comfort and gas mileage. Otherwise, I’m not that picky. 🙂
Since I have no car, any car that would be in great running condition, would be my ideal car!!
I love my 4 Runner and would not want anything else!
My ideal car would be a Ford Explorer Suv. They ride smooth, are comfortable, and make great family cars.
I love my Avalanche. It is 10 yrs old. But I would probably buy another one!
I’m really enjoying my year old Honda pilot.
Nissan Maxima would be it! FULLY LOADED
My ideal car is one that’s PAID OFF 🙂 If I’m not making payments, I can make almost anything work but I prefer a fuel efficient car
I drive a Durango and I love it. Three rows for the kids, roof rack, heated seats and feels powerful when you drive it. The only thing I would change is the gas mileage because it’s horrible.
My ideal car would be a jaguar!
Ford Edge, great gas mileage, tons of leg room in the back, seats that can fold down in the back with a button, heated seats, HUGE moon/sun roof. Love it!!
I love Hondas and owned many for 19 years. I purchased a Mazda a year ago and miss Honda! My ideal car is the Honda pilot. I’m a single mom so I don’t want the van but would love the room of a pilot to cart around my 8 girl scouts in my troop;)
I have a honda and so far it is a heck of a lot better than the Saturn I used to have. All I want is a little room, at least ok gas economy, and air conditioning!
My ideal car would be a new Chrysler town and country. Ours is barely hanging on.
A small, cute car that saves on gas.
my husband just bought me a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder, which I love, but my dream car would be a Porsche Cayenne LOL
one that neverbreaks!
My current car is 15 years old, but I love my van. Mainly because it has room for the kids and the dogs. My family lives in Louisiana and I am up here in Chicago so it is great for long trips. It doesnt get the greatest in gas mileage but at 26 on the hwy it does get pretty good. So my wish list for a new car would be:
SUV
Good gas mileage
Lots of room
4 wheel drive would be nice for the snow
power to make passes like I am a NASCAR driver
I totally would love the Honda Oddessy! Such a great family car!
My ideal car would be a Porsche candy apple red!
My ideal car would be a Corvette. My practical vehicle is a minivan. 😀
woot woot
My ideal car holds 4 car seats EASILY without having to figure out which seat fits by which seat where and since we are in “ideal” land, it never needs gas, never breaks down, and it totally free!
I would love a 7 or 8 seater Large SUV… with two TALL teenage boys and two adopted foster daughters we have outgrown our SUV
My ideal car is easily the Kia Soul
My ideal car would be roomy enough for my large family of 5 children. I would need the stow-n-go compartments to help organize all the toys & books that clutter my car lol. I would need it to be safe & efficient on gas as well 🙂
My ideal car is already stuck in my head. It’s cute, innovative, roomy beyond my expectations. Now if I could oly get one that is PAID OFF.. I would be a grateful gal! The KIA SOUL is my ideal car 🙂
Automatic sliding doors. I never realized just how great they were til mine broke
My ideal car probably doesn’t exist yet but it has to hold 6 teens and adults, plus 1 car seat, and a wheel chair!! Also needs to be kid friendly, fuel efficiant, and self cleaning:)
My ideal car would be anything that can hold my 3 kids and our dog comfortably. It also has to be easy on the gas.
My ideal car can easily fit my family of 5 plus a few extra people – is easy to drive and great on gas!
i love the new audi suv – unsure of the name but love the looks
As a mom of a four year old and almost 2 year old automatic doors are a must! I never realized how mch easier they made life until mine broke
I love my Dodge Durango, but would love a new one! We have 5 kids; two teenagers and three in boosters or carseats, so we need lots of room!
My ideal car is the Audi Allroad. I love leather interior (just wipes away clean), the roominess , also the stylishness of a luxury car, with the down to earthness of a wagon. I just wish the price was more ideal.
Quest (Nissan)
a honda accord
Bummer
This would work perfect for me! I drive a KIA Sportage,2005.It has been a great little car.Room for my German shepard and two kids,Amazing gas mileage, peppy too:)
I really need something smaller than my Dad’s 2007 Honda Odysee and gets better gas mileage. HAHAHA!!
Miss my excursion….so roomy like an excursion with the gas mileage of a Tahoe or Yukon.
I never thought I would become a minivan mom, but I bought one 5-1/2 yrs ago when I had 2 boys & then was expecting twin girls! I can’t imagine going back to a “regular” car now. My ideal car definitely would have 3 rows of seats, stow-and-go & lots of trunk space. I also love auto side doors & back hatch. I would like something with better gas mileage & more leg room as my sons are almost taller than I am & they’re only 9 & 11! they need more space as they grow!
We love our Honda pilot because we can fit 3 car seats in the middle section and still have a back seat and storage area
a small suv
My ideal car would be an extended Ford Expedition!
Nissan Armada or something similar in size. Had a lease, loved that truck.
I am happy with my Ford Freestyle for the family purposes but it just doesnt have that sense of adventure like I would like to feel when riding in a vehicle…I think a 69′ Chevy Camaro would do it for me 🙂
Not sure what kind of car I want, but it needs great gas mileage, room in back for long legged people, air conditioning and a power driver seat for easy adjusting. Usually I look at Toyota’s when I begin he car search process 🙂
I look for reliability and gas mileage.
Gas mileage is a must now a days! And power seats! and I’ll go from there.
A car that looks nice and has lot of luggage space.
Love my spacious new pilot!
My ideal car is my Subaru Forester. AWD is the best invention ever!!
I want a vehicle that would drive itself.
SUV of some kind!
I want a MINI cooper! they are so cute!
For a hatchback, this is not a bad looking car but I am partial to an extended cab truck or an SUV
I would love a Subaru.. Roomy, holds value, great in all kinds of weather 🙂
My ideal car is one that is free! Also that will fit my twins and comfortably. Roomy for maybe 1 more child.
A car with plenty of room for the kids and groceries, plus easy on gas would be the perfect match for me.
A car that has good gas mileage, one with a gps and backing system and one I can travel in.
I seriously considered purchasing a Kia back in July of this year when I went car shopping. And although I wound up purchasing a 2009 Nissan Altim instead, in the future I’d definitely consider going with Kia again. Style, features, price and the warranty are major factors in making a sound decision and after reading your review and doing some research on my own Kia exceeds all of the above!
I need a reliable car with good gas mileage and an excellent safety rating–but it has to be affordable too!
I just Like a nice car with enough room to carry luggage or things home from the home improvement store if needed. Comfort is a must and it needs good gas mileage and great tires! Ideally I would like a infinity fx35 or maybe a Nissan juke. But will probably change my mind a million times before I decide…
I have a Kia sportage and it is my favorite car yet. That little puppy goes through the snow like no other. I only want Kia’s now as long as its 4wheel drive
I love this car! It’s one of my dream cars now.
with 3 kids I love my mini van and stow and go seating is amazing
I want a new Ford Taurus so bad!
I look for space, quality, and gas efficiency :). This looks like a great car since I just have one child.
I really prefer a van with three kids and a dog. It’s really hard to fit three car seats in a car, plus the kids are close enough to touch each other. That could be a little crazy with the fighting.
It’s not really an ideal car but my favorite car is a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. Convertible with white interior, yellow paint 🙂
My ideal car is a Ford Focus, I just really love them, we cannot afford one but if we could I would have one 😀
My ideal car would be a 1968 mustang convertible.
Right now with a baby coming I would say a family car like a Buick Rendezvous, as of right now I have a convertible which isn’t a real mom mobile….lol
We bought a used Buick Rendezvous recently. It’s my favorite vehicle so far! Enough room for people and groceries – just wish the gas mileage was a little better!
My dream truck is a Dodge Ram 3500 Crew Cab with Lift Kit
I would love to own a car that was electric. to save gas and the environment.
Definitely something better on gas.
something smaller and great on mileage!
Gas mileage!
An old pink caddy! With the fins! Like the one Elvis drove! 🙂
4 doors and lots of space!
My ideal car would be a newer model mustang or a nice s-10 low rider with extended cab cause I have 2 little boys
I need an inexpensive car with lots of room and good gas mileage
I need a car with enough room for my 3 kids. I also love cup holders! They are a must have for me!
My ideal car is actually a truck! I would love to have a Dodge Ram King Cab with an extended bed! It would have to have power steering and a/c. I need a large vehicle because the hubbie is 6’3″ and a big teddy bear, and I have a tween that is growing like a weed and heading in the same direction as his dad. I love craigslist, and going to flea markets and yard sales. And we have a small farm with chickens and a few goats so we need the space to transport feed and hay. I would need enough room in the back seat for my son and my granddaughter that is still in a booster seat! This is of course a dream, because I am in the same boat as you, I don’t have the money to buy it! But dreaming don’t cost you nothing and the way I look at it, I could win one some day! LOL
I need a car that has room for two growing boys and for their soccer things. Low gas mileage. Looks good.
This seems picky, but my ideal car would have interior lights that turn off after a certain amount of time. My kids keep turning ours on, and we forget to turn them off. I’m worried that the battery’s not going to work some morning…
My ideal car is safe and comfortable
We just had our second child and we only have a sedan. With our stroller in the trunk, we have very little space. So SPACE is the main issue. At this point, I don’t know if we could do a major grocery haul in our car!
With three kids, I need a vehicle with lots of room. Since we travel quite often, I need a built in DVD player. I love seats that can stow away in case I need extra room for a big box, etc.
When purchased ours in June, I was looking for a nice, big back seat for our daughters nice, big car seat! I also looked for a car with a lot of leg room and trunk room, for when we have to go to our next duty station, so we can put more in our car to travel! We ended up getting a Ford Edge, it does great on mpg on the Highway and good in town. We have gone on 2 or 3 trips, and storage has been awesome. I can fit my big jogging stroller and huge luggage case in the back seat, and I still have room available.
I need a vehicle that is fuel efficient has plenty of storage for 2 kiddos and my mothers walker. I would also like a vehicle that looks stylish but doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg to purchase.
After having a hybrid I have to say u don’t think I would get anything else anymore!
A Dodge Challenger!
a mustang. It’s fast and stylish.
room for a stroller and 3 car seats….plus room for groceries and toys 🙂 a sunroof/moonroof is nice too!
My ideal car would seat 5 and roomy. It would have leather seats and a DVD player.
Besides this vehicle being sleek and awesome, the perk’s are great. This would suit my family just fine
Really like the KIA minivans!!!
Price, fuel efficiency, mileage, warranty, size
My ideal car is a small suv with great gas mileage 😉
We have a Chrysler Town & Country and I love, love it. It has plenty of room, a DVD, fold down seats so you can use it for large items and heated seats. It is an awesome van. Hope you get the car of your dreams.
I have a Ford Expedition and it is ideal for my family. I have a teen, a tween and a toddler plus 2 dogs and I occasionally have to pull a stock trailer with animals or our travel trailer. If I was to buy another vehicle it would be another Ford since they are the ONLY American car company that did not have to be bailed out by the government.
Gas consumption, power windows, ac and of course price!
This looks about the size of my Dodge Caliber and it really is ideal for us. So if I was looking for another, this might be suitable.
Safe and roomy enough for two sons itch autism!
Kia’s make really good cars! I must have good gas mileage when choosing a car. Kia’s get good gas mileage, and they are reliable and well made. I have had a Hyundai and they are made by the same auto maker of Kia, and they are really good cars with good gas mileage.
I’d love to have a hybrid small SUV, something with a bit more room than a car, but still excellent gas mileage.
I currently do not own a car, so I think a Honda Civic would be a perfect fit for me!
I want the OnStar. I wouldn’t get anywhere without it.
A car with good gas mileage
I have a mini van, Plymouth voyager that I like, but I’d rather have a car that good on gas mileage right now.
Good on Gas, Spacious, SMALLER THAN MY HUSBAND’S HUGE TRUCK I HAVE TO DRIVE NOW! LOL
I’m all about comfort and safety. I would love an executive looking car though if it stays in my budget. I love those cars that can remove parts and change seats and what ever too!
I’d LOVE a minivan. We have three kids crammed into an Impala and it would be a true Christmas miracle if we could go a whole car trip where no one can touch each other!
Love my Jeep Cherokee!
a car that functions like a minivan, but looks like a suv!
My ideal car would roomy for my son & great on gas!
sure could use a gas saver
Roomy behind the steering wheel and good gas mileage!
My ideal car would be really good on gas, have leg room, comfy seats(because with a new car I could take long car trips) and have room for groceries or luggage.
Since our car now has the driver heated seat, I really want ALL the seats to have the heated seat as well the cool air during the hot time. A big trunk space is always a must with me. Good gas mileage is very very needed. Cruise control. I am sure there are a million other little thingsI’d love, but that is what I can think of for now.
My ideal car is something roomy enough for myself, hubby, and 2 kids that we can have room for luggage, also. Must be good on gas, and roomy leg room so hubby isn’t cramped (he’s tall) and it must be something reliable.
We are a two Kia family. My husband bought a 2009 Kia Rio5 after he saw how well my 2004 Kia Spectra had held up.
any suv really
Anything with 4 wheel drive and decent gas mileage!
I need any kinds of Vehicle so I wouldnt have to call someone every time I need t go get groceries or anywhere else. Would like a nice Mini Van but will settle for anything at this point
I love a smaller suv – big enough to hold all 3 kiddos and anything we need to haul around. it is much better on gas than the larger suv’s and easier to drive!
Karen
I’m not really picky, but I love my Mountaineer with the third room and separate air conditioning controls. Have to admit, I like all the extras like heated seats, dvd player dual climate control, etc.
My ideal car is one that gets me through the snow…a four wheel drive!
My main is if its a gas eater so I look for the smaller cylinder engine
My ideal car would be a car that will fit 6 people confortable and that has low gas mileage and is dependable in snowy weather.
Sporty with good mileage
great gas mileage and a big trunk! It sucks when you pick people up from the airport and can’t fit the bags in the car 🙁 lol
I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE my new 2012 Toyota Sienna! It’s my ideal car for our family size, etc!
Gee, we bought a Kia Sorento in June. Not very happy with it. I know that sounds awful! I wish I still have my Ford Expedition from years ago….I loved that car!
would fit 8 but would get more than 15 mpg =) and would be built for people 6 feet tall!
I would love a subaru wrx..ive always been very into cars and my last one or current is an audi a4 that has a ton of work and money put into it!! but i need something more practical with my petsitting business and taking dogs in my car and having to drive all over the place, crappy dirt roads etc.
I like a car with plenty of storage space for all my kids’ stuff!
Room for 2 kids and at least one friend in the back seat(s). Room for my tall dh to drive and ride comfortably (leg room and head room). Good gas mileage. A new concern when looking for our last car — watch the blind spots in the rear. And if I’m getting options, I’d like not to have the SAME color everyone else has; there really are so few it seems.
I like a car with space and all wheel drive. I love the Volvo Cross Country and the Subaru wagons.
I need a roomy car to fit 2 kids and space for groceries too! And decent on mileage
My ideal car needs room for my four dogs, has to be gas efficient, 4 wheel drive and somewhat sporty. I really like the new Ford Escape.
Thiking about it more and more. I am definitely going to look into the Kia . Nice looking car and it looks like a lot of room for a rowing family with all sorts of stuff.
I want a car that gets great gas mileage and has plenty of room and looks great. I was thinking Toyota but that Kia looks super!
I like that its great on gas! I love the trunk space too!
Plenty of room for 2 kids, a husband and all their stuff!! 🙂
I used to have a VW Jetta (Bella) and the trunk space was AHMAZING!!!!!! The only drawback was the $$$$ for the upkeep, an oil change was almost $90. So I traded her n for a Honda Civic (Ellie) but I sure do miss all the room in the trunk.
My ideal car has leather seats and enough room for my kids, hubby, backpacks, etc.
I miss my Mustang. That will be my ideal car when my kids are grown.
My ideal car would be good on gas and easy to keep clean.
Any car that’ll fit my family of 5 🙂
I need a car that will hold 8 people and still have room for cargo, and NOT be ugly. I dont want a school bus. lol
i need a mid size truck.
it has to have plenty of room for car seats(i have 2) and a big trunk for the stroller and other stuff.comfy seats with leg room for the tall hubby.i want great gas mileage and a sweet stereo too.i really am diggin the look of the forte, and a pretty blue would be nice.maybe red.
I need a vehicle that is great in the snow and has great gas mileage and is strong and heavy! I have a jeep that is very old and I am looking for a vehicle something like my jeep.
A spacious car which is great in gas mileage.
My ideal car is the one I have now – has power everything, automatic lights, and is paid for, lol.
I’m pretty simple. I like minivans LOL. I have 4 children 2 still in car/booster seats. Right now I have a town & country that seats 7 and I really like it. If I were to get something new my must haves are simple. Within our low budget, safety, enough seating, decent trunk space. A tv/dvd would be awesome but is not needed. Just enough seating and safety features is my main concern. Good gas mileage also.
Great gas mileage, large cargo space, plenty of room for anywhere from 5-7 people, plenty of leg room and
a very great price.
It’s a cute car….But not big enough for me!
Price, safety, gas mileage and comfort
Thats a tough one I would love to have a chevy volt or a gmc Acadia.
I need a car with plenty of passenger a cargo room. My next car will be a minivan
I can’t drive anymore due to vision impairment but if I could I would own a mini van
I would have loved to have this vehicle when my kids were small=D
Anything ford with a lot of room
I don’t have a family right now, so I want an eco-friendly car that doesn’t need gas. Maybe a solar powered car? Like Debi said above… I want to to be paid for!
My ideal car is a VW Jetta 🙂 But a more practical one for me would be an SUV.
I am very happy with the car that I have now. I have a Chevrolet Cavalier. It’s good on gas and has plenty of room. And it was very affordable!
I love my Nissan sentra great on gas lots of leg room with an ample trunk
My ideal car would be a mid size car, suv, or truck which is roomy in the inside and excellent on gas mileage. Also maybe something which comes equipped with features to allow me to plug and play my Iphone, Ipod or Ipad as well.
These days….MPG! (miles per gallon)
i would love a green bug!!!
I want a 66 nova white with black leather interior with hot pink stiching
I would be better off with an SUV or mini van cause we have a 15 yr old thats over 6Ft that sits in the back so need lots of leg room.
I need an suv or a minivan with 3 kids 5 and under.
I want a hybrid, great gas mileage, built in GPS, and of course the best safety features.
A ford Edge or Flex. Big enough for my family but great on gas.
I’m partial to wanting a Kia Soul these days. But I’d really like one of the newer Mustangs also. 🙂
Any Car as I don’t have one now.
I love my ford Escape Hybrid. It has plenty of space plus it get great gas mileage.
Ideal car, good on gas and lots of room!
I love my Hyundai Sonata, it’s a great car and I got a wonderful deal on it. My second choice would have been the Kia, but this deal was too good to pass up!
Right now I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I love it but it is getting old and its a gas hog!! My ideal car would be the new 2013 Jeep Cherokee with all of the bells and whistles with it!!!
Ideal would be enough seats for the family and friends and space for luggage and equipment. Easy on fuel safer than safe and quiet from road noise
I love a car that I know is comfortable and reliable! I really love Hondas but my dream car is an Infinity G35! 😎
My ideal car is something that is efficient, environmentally friendly and gets me from point a to point b without breaking down!
I need something big, I have 3 kids and family that always visits. So, something that can fit 7 comfortably!
i dont drive, but i’d say fuel economy!
I’d be happy with a brand new Honda Oddessy
love this car…lots of space that is much needed!
space and comfort, oh and gas milage
I’ve always wanted a Rav 4, or Eclipse…but now with children, a roomy, safe, affordable, gas efficient, comfortable, home-away-from-home type of vehicle would be ideal.
Anything that is a Jeep!!!
My ideal car would be an Escalade- they do good in the snow and they look so sharp!
A roomy car with good gas mileage is definitely important!
i need a car bigenough for me ad my 2 kids and their daddy~
I just want a car that will fit all of my family and have enough room for packing groceries in. I also want to be able to pay cash for it. I have a large family so a Kia would be out for me.
Comfortable, reliable and good on gas. Probably a Subaru Forrester or Legacy.
Affordability, gas mileage, style, color, safety features.
I really want a 2013 Ford Explorer with 7 seats. I have 5 kids so I need at least 7 seats. I currently own a Honda Odyssey but the automatic doors are messed up and the bumper fell off, LOL. It’s a 2003 but we got a great deal on it used. If I could fix the bumper and doors on it it would be fine. That of course takes money. Oh, well, one can dream.
4 doors, SMALLER than hubby’s huge truck, good on gas, and comfortable would be the ideal car for me!
power locks and windows, 4 doors and good gas mileage!!
something good on gas and very dependable!
I would like something that is sharp looking but good on gas. And of course fully loaded…lol
Now I want to test drive one! #KiaHoliday
the ideal car is one I can afford and gets good mileage!
I want a mini-van with lots of cup holders, a dvd player with good mileage and gas!
Although I purchased it because of the price, and still don’t consider it a car I would choose if price was no object, I have to say I’ve been very pleased with my Toyota Matrix. It’s very roomy, but doesn’t feel like you’re driving a truck, and has a lot of storage, even when the back seats are up.
Great safe for Moms on a budget!!
Anything with great gas mileage and a warranty…maybe a hybrid. And that has room for my shoes..and my boyfriend.
When buying a car I look for great deal (overall cost), affordable payments, low mileage and great with gas! 🙂
My ideal car would be dependable and stylish, have great gas mileage, a large trunk and ample leg room for back seat passengers.
My basics are a car that stays reliable over the years, is good on gas and prepared for the winters in New England. A Subaru fits the bill here.
My ideal car has great gas mileage and enough room for me to carry things, and is super comfortable.
My ideal car is anything with 3 rows of seating!
WOW ! wish I had this Kia when we wet to my son’s house for Christmas. We had gifts, wheelchair and walker plus 3 bags of clothes. We were really cramped.
Gas mileage, affordability & safety rating
anything with great off road capabilities!!
We have been looking at both Kia and Fiat lately. There are just the two of us now. When I was driving 6 kids around we loved our Ford minivan! It was reliable and roomy tho a bit pricey I think. I think Kia makes cool cars with many options for a wonderful price! We sometimes have a group of Grandkids to haul around and Kia seems to be a great choice for us! We need good electronics and leg room and good gas mileage! And the Soul looks so cute!
My ideal car is a Chevy Equinox or Ford Edge. I love the crossover!
my favorite car is a chevy monte carlo.
I need something better on gas!!!!
This Kia looks like a really nice roomy car that I wish we had on our Holiday road trip.
Love my Pilot – third row seating – leather seats! Enough room so we can travel for the holidays.
I will win it…
Ford Focus
Any car newer than a 2005 model!!!
Toyota Tundra 4door 4×4
I’m divided on this…We have a Merz GLK now…it’s smaller than full-size SUV…just a little bigger than normal sedan…it’s nice to drive around…but I like roomier cars…@_@ my husband is against minivans, but THE POWER OF HAVING SO MANY SEATS!!! so I dunno
New Ford Explorer
Enough Seating, Trunk Space, Power Doors to lock Kids in easily, and most importantly budget friendly! Hyundai has some great vehicles to offer that are gas friendly and budget friendly. Hyundai is a very dependable vehicle now and very budget friendly!
I have 2 little ones so I’ve been considering a minivan just because it seems so much easier to get them in and out of.
Price is our #1 concern, as is the cost of insurance. (Who knew that, when I bought my Monte Carlo, that it was considered a “race car” and my insurance would cost more than my car payment???) I also need good city gas mileage, as it’s all stop and go traffic around here. I need lots of trunk space, and safety features that take into account little ones in car seats.
I like it but I prefer bigger cars
I want a truck not picky but since I bought the wife a new honda I have drove her old car that is falling apart.
Fuel efficiency is very important. In my area we got to $5.00 gas prices and I think that will come back for 2013 and maybe a little higher. Also I would need it to be reliable
I would love a cadillac SUV
have a pilot…need something a bit more spacious in backseat with three kids in car seats but no minivan…otherwise, i love it.
Basics are space—room for my legs!, space for groceries and humans, and overall reliability and good gas mileage
I would like to have a small suv where the seats fold down. Leather heated seats and Good gas mileage!
Anything with space for 6 children!
I LOVE my Ford Expedition! But I need a bigger car! I would love the XL. I need lots of space to lug around sports equipment and has to at least seat 8 for all the kids friends. 🙂 I would love great gas mileage but large SUV and great gas mileage dont reallly go together 🙁
my ideal car would be something along the lines of my toyota hylander but with four wheel drive and better fuel mileage.
I have to find a car that will fit me, my husband and three growing boys. It also has to have good gas mileage.
i need a car that has gets good mileage even if i’m not on the highway, has a gps system, leg room because my son is tall, roomy in the back and spacious in the trunk.. preferably a small SUV no monster trucks and i don’t want to sit low in a car..
I have kids so I look for a vehicle that has a lot of room to hold everything we need, even when it is just running errands. I would like it to get good gas mileage and have enough room to hold a stroller and groceries.
dependable!
My ideal car has a gps!
My ideal car is big enough to carry my kids around and all their stuff!!
cute car.
My ideal car is the one without the car payments and is great on GAS.
I would like an SUV that gets 50 mph and has 3rd row seating that’s comfortable. That’s not too much to ask is it??
My ideal car is one that gets excellent mpg. We just purchased a Chevy Volt and are super happy with it!!
I am not picky about a car, as long as I can put one or two car seats in the back seat!
I just recently bought a newer car. My first priority was reliability! I had to be sure my babies and I were safe on the road at all times. There’s nothing like having assurance when you have precious cargo aboard! The 2nd and another important factor that helped me to buy my new car was the MPG. I drive quite a bit so the vehicle I bought gets 28 mpg in the city and 35 on the highway. My next vehicle will definitely be a roomier hybrid possibly maybe an SUV. 🙂
safety and good reviews, price and cost of repairs if needed, gas millage.
My ideal car for travel needs to have lots of room in the back for our stuff and it needs to be easily accessible. It needs to have enough room in the second row for my kids and all of their stuff. Up front needs to be comfortable for the adults with good positioned cup holders.
A nice 4 door vehicle with lots of space. A malibu would be nice
You know what, my Honda Civic 3 dr hatchback is my ideal car. It’s small enough to fit into tight parking spaces, but big enough to fit anything I want in the trunk. I moved out with just my car, 2 dressers, boxes upon boxes, the only thing that didn’t fit was my couch. Pretty good I’d say.
I care most about gas millage
Love My CRV…good gas mileage, plenty of seating and leg room, can carry items easily and it’s not a large vehicle
That Audi A8…sweet.
Affordability, accountability, and comfort…but safety…absolutely!!
I look for better gas mileage or a hybrid car, safety features, and winning a free car.
My ideal car would be good on gas, roomy trunk, comfortable seating, a sunroof, an awesome stereo system.
I love the look and color of this Kia.
Love the Kia! But i really need a mini van for my family! But would love something better on gas 🙁
My Elantra has been great for me. Great gas mileage has been wonderful.
Would love to find a good gas mileage car that is made in the USA. something that is safe too. M
Diana C
My ideal car needs to be good on fuel, have leg room and comfortable seats
I dont drive but the day i doo,,,, i would like a car where i save on gas !!!

I love the Tahoe!
My ideal car has enough room for me, my kiddos and my disabled mother and her walker. It would also have 2 dvd players for each of the kids to keep them from fighting 🙂
