I often get the opportunity to review new toys or educational items for the kids but I will tell you, sometimes they get used for an afternoon and then forgotten about. This was NOT the case this one.
First indication, my kids literally could not get the thing out of the box fast enough. I was in the back of the house and my 4 year old son brought me a half opened box…
The toy is actually pretty fun, not only do you have the “bug catcher” type thing, but it is educational too. The kids have played with it several times over the last few weeks and I get to hear all about different bugs now 😉
VERY easy to operate too, you just put the AAA batteries in (not included) and toss a bug in the net. If you have it on the “facts” setting, you will get one of a hundred different facts about that bug. You can also have it on the “quiz” setting and it will ask questions about the bug in the net that the child would have already learned from the facts.
Fun and simple! Educational Insights really are brilliant when it comes to making toys that are educational while being fun for the kiddos.
