Wreck It Ralph premiered in theaters yesterday. If you haven’t taken the kids to see Wreck-It Ralph yet, you should! We took my 4 year old son and almost 6 year old daughter yesterday. Not only did they love it but so did we!
First and foremost, and probably the most telling… my son actually sat through the ENTIRE thing. This is the first movie that he has done that at the theater. Usually he is up and down, wants to sit in my lap, sit on dad’s, go up and down the stairs, stand, etc.. Bar one quick bathroom trip, he sat in his chair through the whole movie! Completely engrossed too.
That in itself is a huge PLUS in my book!
Next on the top of my list is that it was fun and entertaining for both parents and kids alike. My hubby is big on video games so he recognized all the characters and loved it for that. But even I liked it and I don’t play video games at all.
There was great humor throughout and it was the perfect dosage. The kids really got the humor too and laughed a lot. My son was laughing so hard at one point I thought he was going to fall out of his chair!
Between all the humor and action they had a great message on keeping one’s integrity. By the end of the movie Wreck-It Ralph is a favorite of everyone, despite being the “bad guy”. Of course, there is a real bad guy too 😉
I don’t want to tell you the story but you need to go see it! Your kiddos will love it and so will you 🙂
