Several years ago I went on a hunt for a different Banana Bread recipe and found this Creamy Banana Bread. I fell in love. I don’t remember where I found it but seriously it is so good!! Doesn’t get dry and is just so perfectly delicious!

Creamy Banana Bread
What you neeed:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 (8 oz) package of softened cream cheese
1 1/4 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed bananas (2 large Bananas)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
How to make:
Preheat the oven to 350.
Cream the butter and cream cheese together.
Gradually add the white sugar and mix until it is light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
Mix in the mashed bananas and vanilla.
Add flour, baking powder, and soda; mix until batter is moist. (Don’t cream it!)
In a small bowl, mix together chopped pecans, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, and cinnamon for the middle layer.
Divide 1/2 batter into two greased and floured 8×4 inch loaf pans. Sprinkle pecan mixture over batter in pans, and top with remaining batter.
Bake for 45 minutes. Do the toothpick test to make sure cooked well and cool!
