Like many others, I am learning to live on one income by cutting back and finding deals. I love the thrill of a good deal and even more, sharing it with others!
Before having kids, I was a self-proclaimed shop-a-holic. I could waste money as fast as I could earn it and believe me, I did!
After having kids and cutting out family income in half (as I stopped working), I pretty quickly learned that I couldn’t go out and buy my Coach purses whenever I wanted anymore!
I made the mistake of trying to coupon on my own without having any direction or knowledge on how to really take advantage of the coupons and sales. I used coupons on full priced items that I probably wouldn’t have purchased if it wasn’t for the coupon… After realizing I was doing this all wrong, I wanted to help others NOT make my same mistakes.
I became a pro at finding the best deals, getting things for FREE and even winning the niceties that I could no longer afford. I decided that I would take my passion for shopping and direct it towards spreading the word on how one can save money, get the necessities in life and maybe even still get the frills and extravagant items that they WANT! That is what this blog is all about, sharing my experiences, wheeling and dealing to get you the best deals so you have money left over for YOU and all the things that happen along the way.
Travel, entertainment, family, parenting, your home, those are all things that put together our lives. I am definitely not an extreme couponer — but I love having nice things and saving money is part and parcel to being able to have those right?!
