It is easy to get overwhelmed when it comes to couponing. There are SO many coupons and deals to take advantage of that it could easily consume your time. I strive to make it easier for you with the blog, but as grocery stores vary so much across the country (as do prices!) that is not always the easiest.
My daily tip for today is to take things one step at a time. Baby steps if possible! Pick a store to get familiar with first, learn their coupon policy, buy your newspapers, print your coupons and organize a trip. Or, even easier – take the match ups and go get all the freebies one week.
Once you have learned the beat at that store, move on to the next in your area! There will always be savings and great deals to be had so don’t let it overwhelm you by trying to take it all on at once. The more you know, the easier it will be!
Have a money saving tip? Leave me a comment or email me at wheelndealmama at aol dot com. Each Wednesday I will pick a reader tip and feature it on the blog — if your tip is featured you will get a $5 Amazon gift card!

I don’t know if you know about the envelope system where you put your monthly budget in different envelopes depending on what that money is for. My husband and I have been doing that and it is helping us a lot with not overspending.
