Exciting Announcement: Expecting Baby Number 3!

Some of you have probably noticed, things have been a bit slower on the blog over the last few months. Summer break, with both kids home all day (and all the activities we did!!) has been one excuse, but I have another one too!!

I have some exciting news to share!! I’m almost 17 weeks pregnant! 🙂 In fact, we will be finding out if it is a boy or a girl tomorrow afternoon!  Due January 15.

While I am not as creative as some people with their pregnancy announcements, we actually told my family during a family reunion up in Portland, Oregon earlier this summer. We were taking a family picture….

You get to see some of their reactions! I thought it was a cool idea and I get to have that memory in photo too.

If you have been following me for a while, you will remember last year’s post, which is part of why I have waited this long to announce it here on the blog.  Things are all going well though! I will say… being pregnant at 35 (almost 36!) is a LOT different than being pregnant in your twenties. I just don’t have the same energy that I did back then!

I’ve been to my midwife a couple of times now and heard the heartbeat. I am looking forward to seeing everything in an ultrasound tomorrow 🙂

Also — if you didn’t know, I actually had both of my kiddos at home with a midwife. This will be my third and I hope to share some of the experience with you (no, I won’t be sharing EVERYTHING haha, but I do intend to blog about it!).

Oh and here’s my “Beer Belly” as I call it right now, as of a few days ago!
