This post was sponsored by OtterBox, but the stories and my opinion are all my own.
So I’m the first to admit that my phone has been dropped probably a few too many times. With three kids, including a baby, loading up the car, getting out of the house all with my phone in my pocket or hand has resulted in more than a few drops.
I’ll never forget a couple years ago, I was standing out front taking the kids back to school pics, in fact it was my son’s first day of Kindergarten. Down went the iPhone — face first on the driveway. It was not pretty. The entire screen was shattered. Remember those commercials some time back where someone was cutting their finger on their phone screen? Yeah, well that was me. And replacing the screen? That is not cheap! I think I ended up spending $100 to get a new screen put on. Almost as much as a new phone!
This past year, for the first time ever, I had held off on upgrading for almost an extra year until I could snag the new iPhone 6 on release day (yes, I am geeky like that). The thing with all of our pretty smart phones these days is they are still “just” an electronic device, they can and WILL break if dropped with enough velocity.
OtterBox is there to stop that! I am so excited to use the OtterBox Defender case, not only does it protect my phone from the inevitable drops, but there is a clip to attach it to my pants too! Love it. I don’t have to worry about dropping it out of my pocket or my hand. Oh and of course the multi layer case is great if it ends up as a teething toy for Ollie 😮
And it’s pretty!
Not only does it have great protection of the outer casing but the screen too! Love it all.
