For some reason making bread has always seemed like a daunting task to me. I have been scared that I would mess it up? I don’t know but I haven’t wanted to do. Well this one is EASY! And quick! You can make this bread in just 40 minutes.
In fact this would be a great one for the kids to help too!
40 Minute Bread
What you Need:
2 tbsp Active Dry Yeast
1 Cup Warm Water
1/3 Cup Oil, Vegetable
1/3 Cup Sugar, divided
1 Egg
1 tsp Salt
4 ½ Cups Flour, All Purpose
1 egg white, beaten (Use your Egg White Separator to make this easy!)
¼ Sesame Seeds (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, 2 tbsp sugar and yeast. Allow to set for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes add in remaining sugar, oil, egg and salt.
Add in flour ½ cup at a time until a soft dough forms.
Turn out dough onto a well floured surface and knead for 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
Divide into 8 pieces and form them each into a ball.
Place on a well-greased baking sheet and cover. Allow them to rest for 10 minutes.
Brush the beaten egg white on top of each bun and dust with sesame seeds.
Bake for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Enjoy!

Do you really use 2 tablespoons of yeast for 40 minute bread?
