Berry Good Oatmeal Bake
Serves 8-10 (9×13) 4-6 (8×8)
What you need:
- 3 cups old-fashioned oatmeal
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup fresh or thawed frozen blueberries
- 1 cup fresh or thawed frozen strawberries
How to make a Berry Good Oatmeal Bake:
Grease a 9×13 or 8×8 pans. (We enjoy our oatmeal bake thick so we use the 8×8 Pan.), Pre heat the oven to 350⁰.
In a large bowl mix together oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add milk, eggs and melted butter mix well. Add berries and mix until well incorporated.
Pour mixture into greased pan and place in the oven for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow bake to sit for 5-10 minutes and serve.
To serve cut portion size squares and place in a bowl, drizzle milk over top and enjoy. You can refrigerate the leftovers and have the next day as well.
