International Star Registry: Baby Oliver has his own Star! Great gift Idea + 2 Readers will Win Their Own!

Shortly after Oliver was born, I received an email to feature the International Star Registry on the blog with the opportunity to get the same package myself. With Oliver being the little guy that he was when he was born I thought this would be a great idea for him.

Since 1979 International Star Registry has been naming stars for people all over the world. The star names and their coordinates are permanently recorded in the book YOUR PLACE IN THE COSMOS to be registered at the Copyright Office of the United States of America. To date 9 volumes of this book have been published containing over 2 million star names.

They are introducing the New Photographic Sky Chart. Customers can add this to their star package when they name a star! The Photographic Sky Chart is a collaborative effort between a team of German photographers and International Star Registry. The location of the named star is digitally indicated and circled — like this one here (yes, you can see our Star Wars posters in the background LOL — it was impossible to get a pic of this one without a reflection!).

The package comes with not only a beautiful framed chart but an awesome certificate too! I think this is an ultimate timeless gift to give someone.

I actually had this one dated his date of birth. I think this is something that we will cherish for years to come. Our little star <3  If you aren’t familiar with Oliver, you can read about him on the blog but he was born three months early on October 15th this year. He is a little fighter and I thought that it was very appropriate to have a star named after him 🙂  I am sure that you all have someone in your life that you feel is worthy of a “star” and this is the perfect opportunity for that!
